| There are several things you can try. There are commercially formulated repellent sprays as well as home made ones based on garlic and/or red pepper. You can also make a wire mesh cage around the plants. Sometimes, if it is animals other than squirrels, spreading thorny branches among them will help. Some people also report success allowing a pet dog or cat to patrol the area. |
