| There are some bamboos that would be hardy in your area. However, if you plant one as a screen, you will need to be very careful to control it. The running roots of many varieties are extremely invasive and may be nearly impossible to contain over time. For this reason, I would suggest you consider planting something else. You might want to consult with your County Extension as to plants that would do well in the growing conditions you have and would act as a screen without becoming a liability in the landscape. |
