This last month I bought 8 (eight) 5 gallon Monrovia Rhapiolepis Springtime(Indica Hawthorn)shrubs from Woolworth's Garden Center, and I have planted them in full sun. However, they have all developed red leaves with black spots. I bought sulpher fungicide and sprayed the said shrubs, but the leaves are still falling. Please advise me ASAP. Thanks! |
Cold, wet weather than lead to fungal infection which shows up as spots on the leaves. Control by destroying infected leaves and spraying with a fungicide. Try to avoid overhead watering. As the weather warms and dries, the fungus should stop its attack. |
