What can I do to stop critters from eating my tulip leaves as soon as they emerge. I think the critter is a rabbit. I live out in the country so it could be anything.

There are so many potential flower munchers in the country! You might try using some of the commercially formulated repellent sprays or a home made one based on garlic and pepper. You could also fence off the area or make wire cages for your flowers. Good luck!
