What kind of the flower can be growing and bloom all year round for the apartment residents?

Few flowers can bloom year around. They need rest periods. African violets and orchids have long bloom periods, many colors, and can bloom more than once per year. They both do well inside. Typical annual and perennial flowers wouldn't do well indoors.
