I live an apt. and would like to grow some vegetables in pots inside, but we face east and only get the sun in the morning. Are there any veggies that can be grown in such circumstances?

Veggies do best with at least 6-8 hours of full sunlight a day. These vegetables will tolerate less, but they still need some sunlight: beets, carrots, kale, lettuce, potatoes, scallions, radishes, rhubarb, spinach, Swiss chard. You might consider supplementing the sunlight you do get with grow lights.
