The Q&A Archives: Source for Little Gem Squash

Question: Visiting in Zimbabwe in September, I ate some delicious GEM squash but don t see it listed in any seed catalogues here at home. Do we know it by another name?

Answer: You can try Fox Hollow Herb & Heirloom Seed Co., PO Box 148, McGramm, PA 16236. They've carried a variety called 'Little<br>Gem' in the past. The fruit is about the size of an orange, and does well where other squashes don't. Good luck!
