CAN CROCOSMIA MASONORUM BE PLANTED IN A POND? IF NOT,WHAT KIND OF SOIL DO THEY GROW WELL IN?

Crocosmia masonorum grows best in full sun in a well drained soil with a winter mulch. Keep it well watered in summer if the season is a dry one, but do not try to grow it in wet soil.
