Most vegetables do best in full sun all day, second best in a spot with six hours of sun that include the hour of noon, and less well in a shadier location than that. You could try spinach, lettuce and other greens along with peas, and herbs such as parsley, chives and basil. Green beans might also produce, but your yield will be lower than it would in full sun.
