The Q&A Archives: Dog/cal Repellent

Question: i would like to know what is a good natual dog/cat repellent for me to use in my garden.

Answer: There are some commercial sprays you can use or you can make one at home using garlic and/or red pepper. Some gardeners find that a layer of thorny branches spread over the soil helps discourage them, some people use a motion activated spray of water to startle them. Other gardeners find that talking to the owners (and/or the local animal control authority) is helpful in encouraging people to control pet dogs and keep cats inside.
