I planted some caladium bulbs that we dug and stored over the winter. After about 3 to 4 wks I dug in the pots to ck them and they were very mushy. They are in a greenhouse. Is this normal or did they get too cold during storage? Thanks |
Mushiness would indicate they have rotted, however if they were firm when you replanted them this spring, then the cause could have been overwatering or a soil-intorduced problem rather than too cool a storage temperature. |
