I planted some caladium bulbs that we dug and stored over the winter. After about 3 to 4 wks I dug in the pots to ck them and they were very mushy. They are in a greenhouse. Is this normal or did they get too cold during storage? Thanks

Mushiness would indicate they have rotted, however if they were firm when you replanted them this spring, then the cause could have been overwatering or a soil-intorduced problem rather than too cool a storage temperature.
