I have a pink dogwood that is oozing liquid from a part of its bark and from some branches. What is wrong with it?

Based on your description it is difficult to make a definite diagnosis of the problem, although it may be borer damage which is potentially quite serious. I would suggest you take several photos to your Cornell extension office and see if they can identify the cause of the problem and suggest what steps to take next. I'm sorry I can't be more specific.
