| I usually wait until new trees and shrubs have a chance to become established in their new homes before feeding them. Other gardeners sprinkle a little 5-10-10 into the planting hole prior to planting. Either way, be careful not to overfertilize or you'll burn the roots and retard the growth of your new tree. |
