On your lavendar seed packets it says you must chill the seed before sowing. Has this been done by the time I purchase it or do I need to chill the seed myself?

You would need to chill it in the refrigerator for four to six weeks, and plant on the soil surface (do not cover the seeds with soil) for best results.
