Lacebark elm is hardy in zones 5-9. It's tough and grows in most soil conditions, and will grow in full sun to partial shade. The Arbor Day Foundation defines it's growth rate as medium to fast (2 to 4 feet per year). Like most living things, trees gain growth most quickly in their early years, and then growth slows as they reach maturity. In good conditions, lacebark elm lives between 50 and 100 years. Hope this helps!
