My mother-in-law had a shrub call "Sweet Shrub", it smelled like strawberries (kind of) and the "bloom" was a dark rust red color. Please advised where I can find this. Thanks.

This would be Calycanthus floridus, also called Carolina Allspice. It is occasionally available at larger garden centers or through catalogs such as Wayside Gardens -- where it is currently listed.
