I live in an apartment with a patio. The patio is surrounded by trees and there is little or no sun all day. Is there a tomato that can be grown here?

Unfortunately, I don't think so. Tomatoes do best in full sun all day and will grow and produce with at least six hours of sun if those hours include noon.

In such a shady location you might try some of the more shade tolerant herbs such as mint, chives, or parsley, or some leafy greens such as spinach and leaf lettuce. I know those aren't even close to tomatoes, but maybe something is better than nothing.
