If they are in individual cell packs, watch for roots coming through the drainage holes and move them up when they begin to crowd. It is especially important with cosmos seedlings to provide them with lots of light, otherwise they may grow extra long and weak. These are full sun and heat loving plants in the garden, so most gardeners provide them with supplemental light indoors or else wait and plant them directly in the garden once the soil has warmed.
