How can I get my stock to keep blooming after I cut off the flowers? |
Stocks are one of my favorite flowers, yet, alas, they prefer cooler temperatures than many garden annuals, and their flowering will diminish if temperatures climb too high. Cutting the flowers off can spur another flowering, providing the heat doesn't stall them. Try planting them earlier next spring in a location that provides late afternoon shade and you may get a longer blooming period. |
