The Q&A Archives: Best Time To Plant Basil Seeds

Question: When is the best time to start basil seedlings indoor?

Answer: Basil seeds can be started indoors about a month before the last expected frost. The plants grow quite quickly and should not be set out until all danger of frost is past and the soil has had time to warm up. Basil can also be direct seeded in the garden where it is to grow, following the packet instructions.
