I purchased what was called "creeping" verbena. Purchased at local garden shop. I can not find it anymore. It spread and crawled staying close to the ground. Flowers were blue(violet). It did very well on a sandy full sun - hillside where not much else likes to grow. I would like to find it again.

Seeds of perennial verbena are available from Thompson & Morgan. They carry a variety of colors but I think the one you describe is called Verbena 'Blue Lagoon'. Contact Thompson & Morgan at 800-274-7333.
