Question: It is now Mid April in Chicago. Can I plant Oriental Lily bulbs now and will I see growth this year? Also do they handle alot of sun?

Answer: You can plant your lily bulbs now. They prefer filtered sun or light afternoon shade where summers are hot. You can expect your bulbs to bloom from mid-summer to early fall.
