FORSYTHIA NOT BLOOMING TO WELL THIS YEAR WHY?

Forsythia may bloom poorly for a number of reasons. The most common reasons would be excessively cold winter temperatures (you would then see blooms only below the snow line), improper pruning (they should be pruned immediately after blooming only), or too little sunlight. These plants do best in full sun and average to rich soil.
