The Q&A Archives: Daffodils.....what Do I Do Now/

Question: What do I do after the my daffodils are finished blooming for the year? Should I cut them down...or leave them?

Answer: You should leave the foliage in place to grow and ripen and then dry out naturally. This is the process the bulbs need to undergo to replenish their strength to grow and bloom next year.
