two years ago on mothers day i received a bleeding heart plant .It does,nt grow and blossom,the way it should it might be planted in the wrong spot right now it's in sunny spot . thank you

The old fashioned bleeding heart, Dicentra spectabilis, grows best in a shady to partly shaded spot. It appreciates rich humusy soil that stays moist but not soggy. It will normally die back by mid summer.
