The Q&A Archives: Pinching Stock

Question: If I could pinch stock, where on the plant would I do so?

Answer: Not all stocks have a branching habit, but you can sometimes get a second or third bloom if you pinch out the main flowering stalk after the bloom is spent, smaller lateral shoots will develop. Pinch off the entire stem, all the way down to the beginning of the foliage.
