The Q&A Archives: Sun Or Shade For Delphiniums?

Question: Just bought a beautiful delphinium. Shall I plant it in full sun, part sun or mostly shade for the best results?

Answer: Delphiniums can be very touchy to grow in hot summer climates like yours. They like sunshine, but do not like heat. Some gardeners grow them in full sun all day long and others grow them in full morning sun.
