The Q&A Archives: Yellow Hyacinths?

Question: Is there such a thing as a Yellow(in color) Hyacinth. My grandmother would really like one. Any ideas. Thanks

Answer: Yes, hyacinths grow in red, pink, blue, white, and yellow. Bulb suppliers should offer them in the fall at the normal planting time. If you are looking for one now, you might try checking with local nurseries or florists to see if they have forced any yellow ones for sale this spring.
