I am looking for night blooming plants for a moon garden and for night scent. What do you recommend? What plants are night blooming or evening blooming other than the moonflower?

Here's a partial list of fragrant evening bloomers: night blooming jasmine, evening primrose, nicotiana, brugmansia, and night phlox.

The following perennials bloom during the day and remain open at night. Their white blossoms seem to glow in the moonlight: Phlox paniculata 'David' or Mt. Fuji'; Echinacea purpurea 'White Lustre' or 'White Swan'; delphinium 'Galahad'; white blossomed astilbe, Thalictrum, tulips, daffodils, hyacinth, iris, and liatris; Achillea 'Snowsport', candytuft "Snowflake'; lilium 'Snow Trumpet'; Monarda didyma 'Snow White'; Queen Anne's Lace, Shasta daisy; Veronica speedwell 'Alba'. Some rugosa roses have white flowers.

Annuals include: Moonshadow sunflower, white impatiens, French Vanilla Marigold, white alyssum, White Sonata cosmos, Misty White nigella, Pearly Gates morning glory, German statice, helichrysum, white geranium.

Good luck and have fun designing your moon garden. I hope it's near the house so you can appreciate its nighttime glow.
