| In my experience these plants can certainly take longer than five years to come into bloom. They take several years to become established in a new location and then still take their time about blooming. They will bloom sooner when growing vigorously in a sunnier location than in deep shade, and will do best in a rich soil that is evenly moist but well drained meaning not soggy wet. The wait is certainly worth it. |
