I AM GROWING TOMATOS IN A BRIGHT SUNNY LOCATION. I HAD MUCH SUCCESS LAST YEAR. MY CONCERN THIS YEAR IS THAT I HAD A NEW SPRINKLER SYSTEM PUT IN AND I AM AFRAID THAT WHEN THE LAWN IS BEING WATERED THAT THE LEAVES OF THE TOMATO PLANTS WILL BECOME SUSCEPTIBLE TO DISEASE,BECAUSE THEY WILL BE GETTING WET. SHOULD I WORRY OR NOT? THANK YOU T.W.

It is not a good idea to wet tomato foliage unnecessarily, especially in the evenings when it will tend to stay damp longer, as this can invite fungal problems. Perhaps your lawn system can be adjusted slightly.
