Is the early part of May to late to plant pea seeds? Can I plant them without an inoculant since I'm only planting about 2 containers of them. |
Peas are usually planted about a month or so before the last expected frost date because they do not tolerate heat and will not produce well once the season turns hot. An early maturing variety that is heat tolerant might still produce some peas for you, but you might do better to try them as a fall crop. |
