I planted some creeping phlox about a month or so ago. Right after I planted them I started ot see some of the little purple flowers start to bloom. But this has stopped and they do not seem to be creeping over these few weeks. Is this normal and should I do anything in particular?

Phlox is a perennial and it puts on a flush of bloom and growth in the spring, then the flowers fade and the plant grows quietly for the summer, showing just a little additional spread. This is normal. Keep the area weeded, mulched, and water the plants as needed to keep the soil moist but not soggy while they are becoming established this year.
