as in subject and is this the best for a steep bank in full sun and as a control for soil ersion? Thank you |
Campsis radicans is a rampant grower and does well in full sun. Whether or not it would be the best choice in your situation would depend on the severity of the erosion problem. Often, a combination of plants with differing root depths is preferred for soil holding purposes. Too, it is sometimes best to control the flow of water to prevent the erosion.... You might want to consult with your county extension and or someone with professional training and experience in grading work and drainage on this aspect of your question. Burpee offers this plant (Trumpet Vine) on page 76 of the catalog this spring. You might wish to call Burpee direct to verify availability and/or order or request a catalog at 1-800-888-1447. |
