With the variegated Weigela, what is the proper way to take care of it?

Weigela will grow in full sun to part shade. They bloom in the late spring, and should be pruned back after blooming. Cut back the stems that have produced flowers, leaving those that have not yet blossomed. These are rugged plants, once established and require very little water during the growing season.
