The Q&A Archives: Colored Hydragea

Question: How do you keep the color of the hydragea? i.e. blue, pink, purple

Answer: Some varieties of hydrangea will change their color based on the soil pH, with acid soil encouraging blue and alkaline soil encouraging pink. Other varieties of hydrangea are not particularly sensitive to the pH and will change color little if at all in response to it.
