If you move them carefully, you may be able to thin them now and replant immediately. Try to take the corm and any roots it has formed together and replant at the same depth. If they are very crowded and it is impossible to dig them with roots, it may be better to wait until the end of summer/fall when you would be digging them up anyway, then replant them further apart next spring. |
