| when I returned from vacation, I found my hyacynths flower buds swollen like rose hips. What exactly is it, seeds ? what can you do with them ? My grape hyacynths did the same thing, they look like Irish miniature lanterns. |
| After the flower blooms and dries, there are seeds. Grape hyacinths will occasionally self seed all by themselves to form a patch, the larger hyacinths do not usually seem to, however. If you wanted to try seeding some about, collect the seeds once they are dry enough to rattle and sprinkle where desired. |
