Newly planted Jasmine leaves are turning red/purple. Is this a soil problem?

It might be a soil problem, but more likely it's just a reaction to cool nighttime temperatures. Your jasmine should adjust to its new home soon, and the overnight temperatures will warm up within the next few weeks. You can trim away any unsightly leaves and new growth will take its place.
