The Q&A Archives: Gettinc Rid Of Four O'clocks

Question: Please can someone tell me how to get rid of the flower plant Four O'clock. They are taking over my garden.

Answer: Four-O'Clocks can spread by seeds so be sure to keep the sprouts cut down before flowers develop. Continued cutting down at soil level will eventually starve out the roots of the plants. Wish there were an easier way for you to control the rampant growth, but any herbicides effective against these plants will harm other, more desireable plants.
