I WANT TO PLANT SOME OF YOUR RED CORN. I HAVE A RAISED BED OF 32 SQ FT. BY 3FT. HIGH HOW MUCH CORN CAN I PLANT? |
In all honesty, you will not be able to plant very much of it, perhaps one per square foot. Corn is such a space hog that most square foot gardeners do not try to grow it. Each plant might produce one or two ears, so the yield is slim for the space and resources required. You will also need to hand pollinate it since your "block" is so small. |
