| I live in Cincinnati, OH and just planted some annuals (petunias, dianthus, new guinea impatiens & begonias). It's supposed to be in the 40s(for the lows the highs in the 60s) next week. Should I be worried about the cooler night air harming my plants. I do live on a hillside with nothing blocking the wind so it is a few degrees cooler. |
| If your plants were sufficiently hardened off prior to planting, meaning haveing been gradually acclimated to the cooler temperatures and weather outside the greenhouse, most of them should be okay with the possible exception of the New Guinea impatiens which are very sensitive to cold. The other plants you named are relatively cold tolerant. |
