How Do You Define "full Shade" - Knowledgebase Question

I live in Ct. My house faces East so my front flower garden get mostly morning sun only.Would a Lobelia 'Ruby Slippers' be OK in that garden?

If the soil is moist in that area, the morning sun should be fine for a perennial lobelia. Morning sun is a gentle sun so many plants for "partial shade" will do well there, especially if the soil is moist. If it is full sun all morning and includes noon, then some of the full sun plants will do well there too and will nto need that extra moisture.
