The Q&A Archives: Killing Mint In The Garden Without Disturing Other Perinials

Question: How can I kill speariment in my garden without endangering my other perennials? I appreciate your advise.

Answer: Unfortunately, this is a real problem. You can try to dig it out root by root by hand, or you can try to apply an herbicide containing glyphosate by wiping it onto the mint, but if it has become intermingled with your perennials there is no "good" way to do this. Mint is invasive.
