I have everbearing raspberry plants. How do I prepare the plants for next year s spring and fall blooming seasons?

To get both spring and fall crops, prune in spring while the canes are dormant, removing crowded, damaged or weak canes, and any old fruiting tips. Remaining canes should be 6-8" apart. Topdress the patch with an inch of compost. After the early harvest, remove the old canes. The first-year canes will produce fruit in the fall.
