Question: I have a perfect fence for a moonflower to climb on but it is an area where there is a a lot of water run-off making the soil wet most of the year round. Can moonflowers take this kind of moist soils, or do I need to find a drier location. It is so wet that I get crawdad holes.
Answer: Based on your description it sounds a bit too wet. However, perhaps you could create a small raised area and plant the seeds there. The roots could reach down for water as needed but avoid the risk of rot.
