| There are several different types of hibiscus. The Hibiscus chinensis is a tropical plant often sold as a patio container plant and it must be brought indoors for the winter. Hibiscus syriacus or Rose of Sharon is a large growing, winter hardy shrub. There are also some perennial flowering hibiscus that are winter hardy, some common ones are "Lord Baltimore" and the "Disco Belle" series. |
