The Q&A Archives: Transplanting

Question: Can I transplant my miniature roses now?

Answer: You could possibly do it now if you are very careful to take a generous root ball with all of the roots, replant immediately and keep well watered until they become reestablished. (Trim them back to compensate for any lost roots.) Better times for transplanting are very early spring and fall.
