We have treated wood left over from a play set that was dimantled. Can we use it to build a border or plantar for
for a vegetable garden?

There continues to be debate as to the safety of using CCA treated wood around vegetable gardens so you might consider using an alternative material such as untreated wood, one of the new recycled plastic materials, cinder blocks, rocks, or simply unframed steep earthen sides. You could also then use the treated wood to edge a nonedible crop flower bed or perhaps pass it along to someone who can use for another construction project where it is specifically needed.
