The Q&A Archives: Proper Care Of Haburo Nishiki

Question: I recently purchased a dappled willow "haburo nishiki" and can't find any information on the proper care. Can you tell me how much sun it needs, what kind of soil, how much water, etc.?

Answer: This plant does best in good rich soil that is evenly moist, as do most willows (Salix), although it will tolerate the possibly slightly drier soil in a typical flower bed. It prefers full sun.
